Avici Card Review (July 2026): Zero Cashback, That's the Point
Last verified: 2026-07-12 · Desk research — hands-on testing pending
Avici pays zero cashback — confirmed directly on Avici's own fee documentation, not a gap in my data. If you're here for rewards, this isn't your card. The pitch is fee structure: no FX markup on any tier, and ATM fees that split sharply by tier.
What it actually costs
Avici splits into two tiers — Platinum and Signature — each available as a virtual or physical card, four SKUs total, none of which pay cashback. Platinum Physical is a $50 one-time card fee with no recurring annual charge. Signature costs more upfront ($30 virtual / $75 physical issuance) but drops its ATM fee to $0, versus Platinum's $1 + 0.65% per withdrawal. Signature also carries a $20/year fee starting year two; Platinum doesn't.
FX markup is 0% on every tier, confirmed in Avici's own docs — genuinely competitive if cross-border spend matters more to you than rewards. Avici's own fee page had one confusing line on virtual card pricing I couldn't fully resolve (it reads as internally contradictory about the first card's cost), so I've left that one specific figure unconfirmed rather than pick a number that might be wrong.
| Tier | Cashback | Annual fee | FX fee | ATM fee |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Platinum (Virtual) | 0% | unconfirmed | 0% | $1 + 0.65% per withdrawal, $250/day, 3 tx/day, $0.60 declined/balance-inquiry fee |
| Platinum (Physical) | 0% | 0/yr | 0% | $1 + 0.65% per withdrawal, $250/day, 3 tx/day, $0.60 declined/balance-inquiry fee |
| Signature (Virtual) | 0% | 20/yr | 0% | $0 ATM fee, $250/day, 3 tx/day, $0 declined/balance-inquiry fee |
| Signature (Physical) | 0% | 20/yr | 0% | $0 ATM fee, $250/day, 3 tx/day, $0 declined/balance-inquiry fee |
One more honest gap: I haven't independently confirmed which regions Avici is actually available in, which is why the calculator above may show "not available" depending on where you set it — that's a data gap on my end, not a claim that Avici doesn't operate where you are.
Hands-on
I haven't ordered this card yet — this review is desk research against Avici's own site and docs, not first-hand testing. Real hands-on notes land here once I have the card.
Who it's for
Self-custody users who want a zero-cashback, zero-FX-fee card purely for the fee structure — international spenders who don't care about rewards and want to avoid FX markup specifically.
Who it's NOT for
Anyone comparing cards by cashback rate. There isn't one here, at any tier, and I couldn't find any official signal that's changing. If you saw an older review claiming 1.5–2% cashback on Avici, that's out of date — I checked directly against Avici's current docs and found nothing.

Disclosure: if you use this code, I'd get: 18% of the card's fee — $1.80 to $13.50 depending on card type (Avici's own docs say 20%; the site owner's real in-app earnings confirm 18%). Rankings above aren't affected by that either way.

FAQ
Does Avici pay any cashback?
No — confirmed directly on Avici's own fee documentation. This is a zero-cashback card at every tier. Some older reviews claim 1.5–2%, but I checked current docs directly and found no rewards program at all.
What does Avici actually cost?
Platinum Physical is a $50 one-time card fee, no recurring charge. Signature costs more up front ($30 virtual / $75 physical) but drops ATM fees to $0 and adds a $20/year fee from year two. Full breakdown in the fee table above.
Is Avici's referral program real?
Yes — and I have a live code now: TS4PP3, 10% off any card. Avici's own docs say referrers get 20% of what you pay; my own account's real in-app numbers say 18% — see the Avici referral code page for the exact breakdown.
Are there FX fees?
No — 0% FX markup on every tier, confirmed in Avici's docs. That's the strongest part of this card if cross-border spend matters more to you than rewards.
Which regions is Avici available in?
I haven't independently confirmed this yet, which is an honest gap in my data rather than a claim about where Avici does or doesn't operate — check directly with Avici before assuming availability.
