Here's the part worth knowing before you go looking for a better one. As of 2026-08-17 ether.fi's referral landing page advertises "up to 3% cashback on everyday purchases" — the same headline rate the standard Core tier already pays on your first $2,000 a month. I re-checked the live page on that date and it states 3%, so on current terms a code changes who gets credited for your signup rather than what you earn.
That's a change from what this page said in July, when the same landing page advertised a boosted grocery and restaurant rate. I've replaced the figure rather than leaving a number up that its own source stopped stating. ether.fi's original referral program is separately winding down: it closed to new signups on 2026-05-01, stayed open only to people who joined before then, and ends entirely on 2026-10-31.

Core — the tier you land on by default — already pays 3% on your first $2,000 a month, stepping down to 1% and then 0.5% above that, and it pays that with or without a code.
So price this one on the card, not the code. The full cashback ladder and every fee is on the ether.fi Cash review. What "plus more rewards" covers is left unstated on the landing page, and I'd rather tell you it's unstated than guess at it.
